Windows 10 / 11
Works without internet too; your data can stay on your computer. Signing in and the licence need internet once.
Download for Windows- Open the downloaded SmartifieQuote-Setup.msi. If the browser says it “isn't commonly downloaded”, choose ⋯ → Keep.
- On the “Windows protected your PC” screen, click More info.
- Then click Run anyway. The installer is signed with our own certificate; Windows warns because it does not know that certificate in advance.
- In the wizard, click Next, accept the agreement and click Install.
- If Windows asks for permission, click Yes.
- Click Finish and the app opens. In the app, choose Account → Sign in with smartifie.com; your licence arrives automatically.
Android 8 and later
Works without internet too; your data can stay on your phone. Signing in and the licence need internet once.
Download for Android- Tap Download. If the browser warns that the file might be harmful, choose Download anyway.
- When the download finishes, tap Open (or open the file from Downloads).
- If the phone does not allow installs from this source, tap Settings.
- Turn on Allow from this source and go back. This is asked only on the first install.
- Tap Install.
- If Play Protect shows a warning, choose More details → Install anyway. The app comes straight from this site, not from Google Play.

iPhone / iPad
On iPhone it does not work offline. The iPhone version is a web app added to the home screen: your data stays on Smartifie servers and it needs an internet connection every time. The edition that works offline and keeps the data on the device is Windows and Android only.
Open in Safari- Open the app in Safari and sign in, then tap the Share button (on iOS 26, tap ⋯ first).
- In the list, tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add at the top right.
- Quote is now on your home screen; open it while you are online.

Mac
There is no Mac installer yet. On a Mac you add the web app to the Dock and use it in its own window; it needs an internet connection and your data stays on Smartifie servers.
Open in Safari- Open the app in Safari and sign in, then choose File → Add to Dock… from the menu (macOS Sonoma 14 or later).
- Click Add.
- Quote is in the Dock and in Launchpad, and opens in its own window.

Is a proforma invoice the same as an invoice? Does Quote issue invoices?
No. A proforma is an advance document sent to the customer before the sale is final, showing prices, terms and delivery; it is not a tax or accounting document. Quote prepares quotations and proformas and does not issue invoices. Once the sale is confirmed, you issue the invoice in your usual accounting or e-invoicing software.
Can the exchange rate change later?
While the quote is a draft you can fill in today's rate with one click or type your own. Once the quote is sent the rate becomes part of the document and is fixed: two days later you still see the same total as the PDF your customer has. A quote with a foreign-currency line and no rate cannot be saved.
How does the discount approval limit work?
You set a discount percentage or an amount threshold. A quote above it goes to a manager for approval before it reaches the customer, and who approved it, when and why stays on record. The approval flow works only on the Cloud plan, with at least two people with Quote roles on the account; it is not on the single-device desktop plan or in the trial.
What exactly does "lifetime" mean?
The licence never expires and never drops to read-only — you keep using the version you paid for, forever. For 1 year after purchase you can also install new releases; when that year ends the app keeps working exactly as before, you simply stop getting new versions.
Why isn't the customer approval link in the desktop plan?
The desktop edition keeps data entirely on your device and has no public address, so there is no link for a customer to click. The feature comes with the cloud plan.
Where is my data stored?
Desktop edition: only on your own computer — we have no access to it and no internet is needed. Cloud edition: on our own servers, with each company's data kept separate from every other.
Can I import my customer list?
Yes. Customer lists import from a spreadsheet, and quote lines export to Excel.
Can I match the quote template to my own branding?
Yes. You can define multiple templates, each with its own page style, font, accent colour, header and footer text, column order, branch and document language. The company logo is uploaded once and appears on every template.
Does the app work in languages other than Turkish?
The interface ships in Turkish, English and Spanish. The quote document language is set per template, so you can issue an English proforma to an overseas customer.
