Quote Product Terms

Terms specific to customers who use Smartifie Quote: what quotes and proforma invoices are, exchange rates and the customer approval link.

Version v1.0 · Last updated: 4 November 2026

These Product Terms apply only to customers who use Smartifie Quote and supplement the Terms of Service. In every matter not covered here — including the limitation of liability — the Terms of Service apply.

1. The product is a tool. Smartifie Quote ("Quote") is software that helps you prepare price quotes and proforma invoices, keep every revision, set approval limits and send the quote to your customer as a PDF, an Excel file or an approval link.

2. A quote or proforma is not an invoice. The quotes and proforma invoices Quote produces are not invoices, e-invoices or e-archive invoices and do not replace a tax document. Issuing the invoice for your sale under the law that applies to you is your responsibility.

3. Exchange rates. The rate used on a quote is either the day's rate the product fetches or the rate you type, and it is frozen on the quote once the quote leaves draft. We do not warrant that a fetched rate is the official or current rate that applies to your transaction; choosing and checking the rate is your responsibility.

4. The customer approval link. The approval link records your customer's answer to the quote and when it was given. That record is not an electronic signature; whether a binding contract is formed between you and your customer depends on your agreement with them and on the applicable law.

5. No compliance or certification warranty. We do not warrant that {p} meets the form, content, retention or reporting requirements of any country's tax, commercial, customs or sector legislation. {p} has not been approved, registered or certified by any public authority or body. Using the product in line with the law that applies to you is your responsibility.

6. Your inputs. Prices, discounts, taxes, rounding, approval limits and role permissions depend on what you enter and set; checking a quote before you send it is your responsibility.
