Wi-Fi does not always reach the loading dock. On the Solo Station plan the Smartifie Logistic Windows app keeps the data on the PC itself, so when the internet drops you still enter orders, print labels and scan cartons.

What the Windows app does
The same shipping flow as the web version, on the desktop.
Order → shipment → loading
Enter orders or import them from Excel, create the shipment order and close the load by scanning.
Scanning with a USB scanner
USB and handheld scanners that type like a keyboard work directly; scanning the same carton twice gives a warning.
Barcode carton labels
A separate 10×15 cm barcode PDF label per carton, sent to the printer from the preview.
Device sign-in
At first setup you create the device administrator, so sign-in on that PC works without internet too.
Automatic backup
While the data is on the device it backs up automatically every few hours; back up on demand and manage old backups from the archive.
Excel and PDF reports
Filter sales, shipment and loading reports and export them to Excel.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work with no internet at all?
On the Solo Station plan daily work needs no internet; the data is on your PC. The licence is re-checked online now and then, so the PC needs to connect from time to time. On the cloud plans the data is on the server, so a connection is required.
Which Windows version do I need?
Windows 10 or later. You download the installer from smartifie.com.
How do I back up my data?
While the data is on the device, Settings > Backup is available: set automatic backups every few hours, or take one immediately with Back up now.
If my subscription ends, is my data locked?
No. The app switches to read-only: you can view and export your data, you just cannot add new records.
Can we move to the cloud or our own server later?
Yes. The larger plans run in the cloud or on your own server, and the Database Transfer screen moves the data on the device to your own server (with the Custom DB add-on).
Is there an Android or iPhone version?
Not yet; it is on the roadmap. Today there is the Windows app and the web version. In the web version you can scan barcodes with a phone camera.
